    Vista Aero choppy [help]

    Hey, I need help with vista

    Have a Amilo xi 2550, and all drivers are correct. The problem is that aero effect when I minimize / maximize a window choppy all the time.

    but when I start windows media player 11, so everything goes as it should. But when I close the mp 11 the effect start choppy again :rolleyes:

    someone who knows where is the problem?

    if you do not understand what I mean, so feel free to ask

    You might be in Vista's Power Saver mode. Click on the battery icon in the taskbar and change it to either balanced or high performance.

    why goes aero run smooth with windows media player 11? i think its maybe some wrong with the hardware acceleration

    when i play movies from youtube aero runs smoth oslo.

    Ok, if this didn't always happen, what did you do immediately prior to the problem starting? Did you install something, remove something, or tweak something? Have you done a complete spyware/malware/virus scan?

    i think the problem is in the hardware acelleration. When i start mp11 or play some videos from youtube or surf with pages with flash aero run smooth.

    i have do a clean install of vista and its still happens

    yes all drivers are correct.

    But my graphics driver are for HD2600XT i have ati hd 2700 and i cant find drivers to hd2700. But drivers for hd2600 works fine for me

    Go to your laptop manufacturer's website - they will have the correct drivers for your laptop.

    If all fails try reinstalling Windows. If it still continues it might be a hardware problem.
