Has anyone had any problems with office 2003 under vista.

I have intalled office using advanced customisation as I only need to install word 2003.

Once the install completed everything worked fine however I am getting a Microsoft Office dialog box popup when opening un-related programs like Registry Mechanic and in fact I am getting office dialogs which I have to cancel just to view files on my hard drive.

Anyone had this issue and know how to cure it?

    Thanks

I've had the occasional crash but no problem like you mention.

Did you patch your office up to SP3 and apply the various other patches that Microsoft have issued?
