I'm not exactly sure but is it true that vista business couldnt stream music or video from vista business using my xbox 360. Or can it not stream things if i dont have an xbox 360. I hope so, even XP could stream video and music.
The reason i'm asking is because i want a vostro instead of a inspiron so i was just wondering what types of features i would loose switching to business instead of home premium.

Well, Vista Business lacks Media Center and the 360 is technically a "Media Center Extender."
Quick google search:

Doesnt list Business... -
even if i can't do media center with the xbox to record television, can i atleast stream music? I think that article was for recording television with media center, but i have streamed music on my xbox before with just regular xp. thats all i want to do.

i think the article linked below confirms i can use any vista based pc to stream music, but not use media center.

Yeah, that seems to be correct.
Theres a topic about this in another forum:

perhaps its possible to use some software to emulate media center to stream the videos to your 360?
