    Hi.

As the name suggests, does anyone know how the hell I can create a new network place to upload my stuff to an FTP server like in XP back then? Switched to Vista now and I can't upload stuff to my website / Uni work.

. create a folder (call it, Network Places ;-)
. put inside it shortcuts to the network locations that you most frequently need to access.
. drag that folder into Explorer's left panel, and it'll be available when you need it

    cheers ...

    1.Open 'Computer' folder (Start>Computer)
2.Right Click on the empty space
3.In the drop down menu choose "Add a Network Location"
    4. Follow the instructions from there on...If you choose to save the ftp connection, it will apear in the Computer folder itself.

yaay! Works. Thanks guys so much. This forum is very useful!

Is it just me or is the Vista interface so cluttered and confusing? I don't have a clue where things are! Really annoying. So many options and buttons everywhere - what's the point!
