This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've read that if you buy a machine with Vista Business that you can downgrade to XP Pro via Microsoft. Can anyone tell me how this works (in UK/EU) and would it affect any system warranty (Dell)?

    I believe that you need to contact Dell to do it though.
