    Vista CD Question

    If I windows Vista for another computer can I use that CD to re-install my notebook operating system.

    I heard it can only be used once at a time, so I think the answer would be no. But don't take my word on it.

    I meant with the cd key for the laptop but using a different CD

    absolutely. As long as ur laptop has its own CD key, that wont be a problem.

    I KNOW thats not a problem if both computers have the same vista flavor, im not sure it would if the flavors were different though. I believe it would because to my knowlege, a Vista CD (full install) comes with all the ultimate features on it, and its the CD key that makes the difference on what version is installed, perhaps im wrong.

    Yes, even though your CD is Ultimate or Home Premium, you will get Vista Business if your key is Business.
