Can someone tell me what the Vista charging icon should look like when charging? Should it appear solid or vertically climbing over and over till complete?

I didn't wanna start a whole new thread on this so since it's related I'd like to ask my question here.

Why doesn't my battery icon show the time remaining until my battery dies? It only shows the percentage.

Some laptops (e.g. HP) only show the % battery remaining, I don't think you can change it.

Icon filling at first, then solid.

Even my Sony doesn't show the time. It depends on the hardware. Anyway the time shown will still be inaccurate.

If you really wanted an estimate on how much time was left, I believe there's a 3rd party app. that does it.
