I came home to my computer today and turned it on like normal and the icons on the desktop were gone. When I left click and try to select and drag or whatever it doesn't work either...It's as if my desktop isn't there. It still has the background and everything...But if I save something to the desktop it doesn't show up it just ....doesnt.
Anyone know a solution? What are my options...
If I'm forced to re-install windows does that mean it re-formats the hard drive?

Try and right click on the task bar and click "Show Desktop" or try and use the Resore Points in vista back to when they were there.
