So I was in safe mode command prompt fiddling with options, and I typed in the command "move C:\Users\(Me)\Desktop". I was going to specify the path afterwards, but I accidentaly hit the enter button, and it said "1 dir(s) moved"!! I did not specify where to move it, and it just disappeared from the original location! I've looked everywhere but can't find the directory anymore! Help please!!

Have there been any ill side effects? If so:
-Check in C:\Users\(You)\Desktop or at least see if it's there? I'm curious.
-Try System Restore
-Create a new account
-Search for folders named 'Desktop' -
Ok, thankfully I made a restore point earlier so I reverted back. But the scary thing was that it disappeared into oblivion, I tried searching and came up with nothing and the desktop folder was empty.

Disturbing...
Well, that's what System Restore is for. -
I think that the way you wrote it, it means (or is interpereted as):
move "nothing" into C:\Users\(Me)\Desktop,
since only destination is obligatory. But why it dissapeared? Hm.
I wonder what some undelete program would give you.

To the OP, what directory was current when you executed the command? Look in THAT directory. You will find your files there.
