    Hi,

I am using Vista Home Premium on my Sony Vaio CS-17G notebook.

Lately, it has started freezing up for about 2mins or so after 5mins of boot-up. It has been happening regularly & at the same time after every boot-up.

I can move my mouse around, but cannot click anything on the screen. Then after 2mins or so it is normal & working.

Mostly I have experienced such freezing while using Firefox.

Also, have been getting pop-ups from Nero Home, saying it has stopped working but not during these hang ups.

Pls assist in resolving this issue.

...andjust another normal day of troubleshooting on NBR...

What was the last thing (installation/Download) etc. that you did before this happened?

Now this doesn't generally help - if you open task manager, how many processes are you running?
(Would give us an idea if you still have all the bloat on your laptop...)
