Currently I'm using the standard vista weather and one called All CPU Meter which shows my processor and ram usage.

the "disable sidebar and never start again at startup" gadget.
i don't like it, it's slow, chaotic design crap with no real purpose imho.
others may like it. -
Depends really.
I don't use the sidebar - I disabled it as far as I can tell.
My mother has a system monitor, a RAM monitor that also does the CPU and a clock...
Oh, and the system monitor allows shutdown etcetera...
It really depends. -
None. Vista Sidebar=Crap
-
I don't have anything. No need for it.
-
wow, everyone is saying they don't use it.... i don't either, there are better "gadgets/widget" things out there, even yahoo is better!
-
I'm with McGrady and Nizzy...no need for them, so I simply don't use.
I likey a *clean, and simple working space*
McCin' -
i like it just cause i can use some of my pc's power

And yes, that water is moving, it's dreamscene content (on Vista HP?!)
Vista sidebar is perfect for me, uses less resources that other sidebars, and has more gadgets... -
Jw, what's your resolution on the 22". Does it make it 1680x1050? Or lower? I never tried plugging my laptop into either of my 22's -
I wish there was one that showed the local radar. My only transportation is a motorcycle and being able to see when the rain is going to hit me would be very helpful.
-
and i thought the 45C on my 9500M GS was really good -
Gadget is called "ProWeather" and version 2.0 just came out
-
And lucky you.. two 22" monitors!
-
Why do you have 2 wifi gadgets?
ETA: using Pro weather sidebar.exe runs 2x. Why does it do this? -
one is wired, and one is wireless, I use both
So before you must have been using only the Gadgets that came with windows, but now that you added a third-party gadget, the second process shows. -
-
Cool it is working normally then
This program is more then I was hoping for. -

+1 for ProWeather. Nice find.
I also use CPU Utilization, NVIDIA GPU Temp, Full Sun (sunspot activity) and Top Processes.

also, does anyone know of a gadget that can track the total downloads/uploads of a session? i know there are plenty that'll tell you how much bandwidth is currently being used, but I'm looking for one that can track the totals. -
I use the Windows clock and weather gadgets, Top Processes from the Windows gadget web site, as well as the MultiMeter, Hard Drive and Volume Control gadgets from The Hobby Lounge. Same gadgets on Vista as well as Win 7.
