    Vista Home Premium make laptop slower?

    Does this Os make the computer run slower? So right off the bat you have to upgrade memory to 2gb? This is a waste. crap

    Slower than XP Home or XP Pro if installed on the same computer, yes. Some would say 2gb of memory isn't necessary to run Vista smoothly. However, some would also say 512mb of memory isn't required to run XP smoothly. You be the judge.
