I'm having an issue with IE7 on two different Vista Business Edition machines. On both laptops, when I want to save a url to favorites, I can do it just fine if I want the url to just go in the favorites folder. If I want to save the url to a subfolder then I get an error. If I save it to the Favorites folder I can then move it using organize favorites with no issue.

In both cases, the favorites were copied from other computers. One laptop is a Sony VZ650 and the other is an Asus A8Js. The Sony came with Vista installed and the Asus I did a format and clean install.

    Anyone else seen this issue?

UPDATE: If I launch IE as administrator the proplem goes away. If I turn off Protected Mode the Problem goes away. I checked the favorites folder and subfolders and I have full rights.
