Hi I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit with IE7. I am facing a strange problem using IE. Whenever I open any link from searchengine say google then it redirects me to other websites. it happens like each and every website. I cannot open my desired website. At first, when I open the iE,it gives iexplore.exe is corrupt or something error and when I open it without addons and then run IE again then it works with the redirecting thing.
    Plz help me with that
    Thannks!!!

Seems to me you have a virus/spyware/malware, etc.
Do you have any AntiVirus software...

Yea, it definitely sounds like some sort of virus/spyware/malware.

    1. Download Malwarebytes, update and run full scan.

    2. Download Avira Antivir, update and run full scan

See what they come up with.

How long has this been happening. If it's recent, you can system restore back to when your pc was healthy, then install AV and etc.

Automatic System Restore points should have been set if the service was on...try looking for them, worst case they don't work out.

I tried installing spybot but its not being installed.
I bought Bit defender 2009 total protection. I hope it helps also got it installed somehow but am not being able to update the definitions. It gives error "cant find active internet proxy" while I have tried on 3 different networks.

First thing: Is UAC on? If not, turn it on.

Second thing: Download Avenger from Swandog. Rename the executable to something like eiuavgr134.exe and then run it as admin. Tell it to fix any rootkits detected automatically.
    http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/avenger2/avenger2.html

Next thing: Open up Windows Explorer, tell it to show hidden files, and NOT to hide protected operating system files.

Check the following directories for items that have been created or modified within time that your computer has been acting strangely: %windir%, %windir%/system32, %windir%/system32/drivers. Post a list of any recently created files that seem to have odd names like ejioejaw.dll, or jejiaew.dat, or UACkdjweraw.dll, 7e9aejwa.sys, etc.

Look through your Task Scheduler for any odd items, and post a list of ones you think are suspicious (names like at1, at2, at3, at4, etc).

    Download HijackThis, and Combofix.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
    http://www.download.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html

Rename the combofix.exe file to something like ejiaearcbfx.exe and run it as admin. Let it do its thing and reboot. Post the combofix log here. Then run a scan with HijackThis and post a log.

A very nasty infection? Back everything you need up, reformat pc and first thing you do is DL AV, SPYWARE REMOVER, ETC.

It has probably hijacked your DNS settings. Don't bother with the AV, just use the tools I mentioned to prevent the malware from executing. Then you can run an antivirus to clean up the actual files.
