Okay, I have Vista Home Premium OS installed on my laptop. Anyway, when I try to install Windows XP, it wont let me, why? Is it just my laptop or is this Vista? How can I install XP instead of Vista??

We need a better explanation than "it won't let me".

Are you trying to run the XP setup inside Vista ? AFAIK you cannot perform a downgrade to XP within Vista. You need to do a clean installation (format/install).
Backup all your important data, format the system drive (usually C: ), boot from XP CD and follow the instructions.
