I have Vista Enterprise Edition. I lock my computer, then put in my password and it goes back to the desktop, and flashes a couple times. During these flashes that happen one, twice, maybe three times randomly within about 5 seconds of me logging back in, the screen just flashes to black very briefly for about a fraction of a second. It's not a hardware issue, as the mouse is still visible on the screen.

Can someone help or at least tell me that they have the same issue?
    Thanks!

Do you have the latest drivers for the graphic card?

I should add that I'm using the LaptopVideo2Go drivers and that the graphics are fine otherwise. It's just that the flashing gets on my nerves...

I believe it's just your LCD refreshing, and has to do with the graphics card rendering the desktop. It's completely normal, so don't worry.

It is not normal though because the screen really should not flashes.
I own a Thinkpad R61 running Vista Ultimate, and it never flashes on my Thinkpad after I login.
Unfortunately, my HP DV2000T does flash. very annoying.

Yeah, you can actually download a little "program" I made by following the link in my signature. It's actually a one-line batch file, but who's counting? :p
