Anyone know how to get Vista to display a more visible warning when the battery reaches a low or critical state? Currently it just displays an exclamation point on top of the battery in the system tray. In Windows XP it used to pop up a balloon notification.

hmmm...I'm not sure how you "make" it, but I certainly get a big ol' ballon. I believe it happens when there is 10% or less left in the battery...I'll need to watch for it next time...

Yeah the settings are in Power Options in the control panel. I toggled the Low Battery Notification Off an On and it seems to be working now.
