I have issues with the Windows Media Centre in Win Vista. I'm able to play and hear audio mp3 through the WMC, but in the case of video, whenever I try to play a DVD I can see the video but the audio is always muted. Nothing is audible.. Everything else except audio while playing video is fine... I tried all possible configuration changes both in Vista and WMC. Nothing has helped me.

Also is there any way to prevent sharing of RAM memory for gfx usage. I hav the dedicated 8600 GT which has 256M and besides this another 768 M is being shared from sys memory.. I don't need this much for gfx.. Where shld i tweak to bring this down.. Its not there in nvidia control panel... Could you plz help me in both the issues...??

it sounds like a codec problem.

which codec pack do you use?
