This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Vista Photo Gallery: remove multiple tags!

    Does anyone know how to permanently remove tags once they are listed in the left pain of Windows Photo Gallery? I have hundreds listed there that I'll never use, no doubt brought in from the many stock photos I used to keep in the My Pictures folder.

    I remove them, then they are all back when I reopen the gallery.

    Also, Vista only lets you delete one tag at a time. I'd like to be able to highlight many of them and delete them all at once. Is this doable? Thanks.
