I just received my new laptop that has Vista Ultimate 32 bit installed.
I have a home wireless network at home. I have two other laptops running on XP PRO.
All of these laptops including my new Vista all belong to the workgroup on my wirless network at home.
I have an HP 1022n printer attached to my linksys router. The XP laptops can print with no problem within the network "wirelessly".
My new vista laptop cannot wirelessly. It can when it is attached to the printer via USB.
I downloaded the latest VISTA 32 bit print driver for this printer from HP's website. Still no success trying to print wirelessly. Only via USB.
I have tried various methods with no success.
Whenever I print a test page after adding the printer to my laptop, the test document sits in my print queue with an error. Where do I find the specifics of this error?
thanks for any help in advance!!

Not with the exact devices as you use probably, but see if this helps.. or at least give you an idea.

There is a firm ware update also from 4/2008. You might need it. Also I saw a "plug and play driver" and a "print driver package". Did you download the whole package?

Install the printer manually using the IP address of the printer. You can get the IP address from the properties on one of the other computers.
