When I clean install Vista 32-bit, I used to be able to activate it using product key at the bottom of my laptop. Now, it doesn't seem to work anymore. It said that the product key is invalid for activation and I must buy a new key. What is going on? Does Microsoft change their policy regarding using product key at the bottom of the laptop for product activation? Is there any legit workaround?

Did you change the HHD, this happened to me,,I put old drive back in vista activated right away,This laptop I got as a gift..When this happened Vista said same thing to me,,no telephone number to call. XP users going to Vista for support better take a few aspirin, Vista is picky.

    Cheers
