My Vista upgrade hasnt arrived yet but I have a question.

    Can you assign for example:

-One "Guest" profile where that user only has access to use the internet and SOME programs (Play games for example, but no not change any system settings or download.)

-And a "Moderator" profile with access to everything. Password protected.

Never tried it on XP although I know there is a some kind of system like this. Possible on Vista?

You can set up specific group policies on certain editions of vista (business, enterprise, and ultimate) that would allow control like that. As for home basic and premium there is a basic Guest account but I'm not sure exactly what it allows you to do.

m using vista HP.. its possible to customize ur accnt.. donno abt Home basic tho..
in vista HP, go to user accounts.. add the user account u want to give restricted permissions(if u havent done that already)..
after that go to parental control.. select the new account u created.. select "on, enforce the settings".. then go through the diff windows settiings given in that window.. like program settings, internet settings, game settings etc..
this will make more sense to you once u get ur system.. :)
