Well I saw a thread on this made yesterday but unlike that post I'm not using a VPN to circumvent school BW limits!

Anyway I use my school's VPN to do library database searches for papers and stuff, and I've read a lot of reports that SP1 basically screws VPN on Vista.

I've also read however that it's often due to a 3rd party firewall conflicting with SP1 (which I don't have).

So my question is two fold: has anyone run into this problem after upgrading to SP1, and are you running a 3rd party firewall or not?

    Thanks!

No third party firewall, I have SP1 installed since the day it became available on MSDN and I use the VPN in Vista every single day. No issues with it at all.

You might want to explain what kind of problem you are having with the VPN? and also they type of VPN being used.
