    The biggest change has to be the proclaimed "very noticeable performance increase". Vista is known for running games considerably slower than XP, so let's hope SP1 mends that issue.

    since it's still a beta, i wouldn't get my hopes up to much: remember all the enw features that should have been in Vista (well, Longhorn)
    and then weren't
    a lot can happenf rom beta to RC to RTM :)

    from my experience with vista (when I used to use it) I only encountered two major issues. one was performance and the other was the "waking up from sleep mode bug".
