I went to my computer properties after installing new drives for my laptop, then i click on "Windows Experiance Index" and i was going to go to update my windows score to see if it improved, But strangely that list with the ratings for individual parts did not show up, the page is just blank? Any ideas on how to fix it?

This list appeared before, but just isn't showing up now?

I always like to keep track of statistical datae of all pieces of equipment I do have whenever they are upgraded. One can use a spreadsheet to input the scores and compare the differences them later on.

WEI scores are the worst benchmarks ever. Use a real benchmark tool...

Can I just ask why are WEI scores considered so worthless ? Is it because they are inaccurate ? Can't they be considered usefull to judge which is a better laptop in a situation, say where you are buying an off the shelf model from a retail store and you are looking at the various displayed models and want to know which one has better performance, overall or on individual parameters, so you just check the WEI scores and sub-scores on them ? That would be a bad idea if between two laptops with similar price, looks, size, weight etc you went for the one with better WEI scores ?

They're worthless because they're notoriously inconsisent, even among machines that are the same model with the same components inside. Furthermore, representing performance of a component with only one number presents problems; you don't know what task that specific component is being slowed by. In short, WEI is unreliable and uninformative.

They aren't completely "useless", for comparing i think they are okay in general, but if you want to compare gpu to gpu, you need 3DMark scores, which are really accurate.

Also i have encountered a weird problem, so my score went up to about 4,900 right, then i played COD: WaW on max and it was running fine, then suddenly it started to lag after about 15 minutes, so i decided to see what my 3DMark score was at that time, it was 3,200! Why did it drop like that? Also are there any better drivers for this card? I have no idea how to find them!

maybe too much heat caused this drop - because otherwise the hardware could be damaged.

i think heat may have been the problem because it is working fine now and i was working it hard for the last couple hours.
