    Hi,

For some reason, when I start up my Samsung Q310 notebook PC with Windows Vista Home Premium, the login screen is appearing at a very low resolution.

It fixes itself when I have booted into Vista.

I have no idea what is causing this? Does anyone have any ideas?

If you need anymore info, please let me know!!

Start -> type msconfig in the Search field and press Enter

    Goto the Boot tab

Look for an option called Base video and see if it's checked, if it is, uncheck it.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

The only thing I have installed is a Super Mario Firefox theme and the next time I restarted the computer the log-on screen was low res!

I haven't had a chance to uninstall it yet but I don't think that would cause the problem?

    Thanks again!
