I have heard mixed reviews of Vista, and I plan to try it if my university gets it for me cheap (they probably will next year), but I have one big question, does it include the Tablet Features? I really want these for one note, which I use in class, and I want to be able to convert my handwriting to text, but on XP you have to have the Tablet OS, which I don't (I'm using a V6j). Does Vista include all of these features by default, even if you are on a Notebook? If someone has a notebook with Vista and Office 2007, can you try using one note to convert handwriting to text? Thanks a ton.

im 99% sure it does (well im 100% sure, but if something goes wrong you cant blame it on me because i said 99%)

i installed a graphics tablet on vista and a bar popped up at the side and when i put my cursor over it a bar would come into the middle of the screen - this would convert hand writing into text.

Also - using Outlook 2007s handwriting feature i could sign my emails etc.

    Hope this helps

All the versions of Vista include Tablet functionalite, except Vista Home Basic. It's MUCH improved from the XP versions, and, as you mentioned, it doesn't require a special "Tablet PC" OS.

Well, turns out I am getting Vista from my University, I suppose that means I can test this on my own.
