I'm having a problem with my Dell PrecisionM2400 ,It has Vista Ultimate OS (32bit) and I am using windows Media Player 11 .When I'm on the internet and playing video clips on websites, the machine starts the video very slowly then goes to normal , but after a few (5) clips or so , the Windows Media player stops working and won"t even open up unless you reboot the computer ??? Will any other versions of Windows Media Player work on the Vista system? Is it a codec problem??

hmm yes it might be a codec issue , try a different player like media player classic or VLC ...
