    Hello!

I just installed Vista Ultimate x64 OEM. It was working perfectly on the first use, but now I cannot even log in.

It presents a screen for me to enter a serial?

I enter it and it says its invalid =S

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks =)

Where is that located? I only see where you can purchase the Recovery Disc Set.

Nope, I never downloaded direct from HP.

I downloaded from the Microsoft links and then used vlite like John suggested.

But I cannot log in =S

    Hi.

Did you create your Vistax64 disk when you where running XP!

As i have heard that Vlite, will refuse your serial no, even if it is correct.

This is a known problem with vlite.

EDIT : accualy the problem is with nlite, but it is strange you are having this problem with vlite!

    Regards

    John.

I created it using a x86 version of Vista.

In vlite I selected the option of no product key, and used Orev's activation tutorial.

Which worked, and then after I restarted caused this problem.

try not using a serial, and entering the serial key after you reformat. also you might have to call to activate your copy of x64.
