    Hi,

I purchased a laptop which qualified for the free vista upgrade. As i have WindowsXP pro, I was only eligible for Vista Business. After reading up, ive noticed that the home edition suits my needs more, mainly due to the inclusion of Media Center.

Is there any way I can install media center on the business edition? Are ther any other worthy alternatives?

I'm not complaining, anything is better than nothing, but bugs me that the cheaper upgrade of the two has the better features.

    Thanks.

No you can't instal the MS media center on Vista business. There is anytime upgrade but you can only upgrade business to ultimate to get media center.

You can install a 3rd party media center, would be cheaper.
