Hey guys, I am looking for a high resolution (1280x800 or more) version of this Vista Wallpaper. The version I have at the moment is low res and looks ugly:

If anyone knows of any good New York Skylines (including the Brooklyn Bridge) that would be great also!

My favorite site for high resolution/widscreen wallpaper is http://www.mandolux.com
Topics for his photography are nature, art, scenery, sports sometimes. He has versions suitable for multiple monitors for you lucky ones out there.

This site has a lot of good links for wallpaper up to 1920x1200

And sometimes there are interesting things at a free stock photography place

Sorry I misread the question. For New York skylines, try the stock photography place. Mandolux has the Yankees hat here:

The Mandolux site is great, I've been there before...some wonderful photographs.

Deviantart is great, but there are literally millions of Deviations!

It is this specific wallpaper I want, it was included in the last build of Windows Vista. You can see it on many reviews of the OS...

Does the wallpaper that you are looking for have a title or name? Or under properties, is there some type of name that we would be able to search for?

1280x800 is actually low res, not high res. are you sure it's not a limitation of your LCD's native resolution or am i misunderstanding your question?

The picture I have, of which I don't know the name, is preinstalled on Vista Betas. You can see it in various online commentaries of that operating system. The only one I managed to find only was 800x600, which when I set it as a fullscreen background, is stretch to 1280x800 (my native resolution). So, although 1280x800 isn't high resolution per se, it is relative to what I have.

I just thought somebody here might be using one of the Vista builds and could upload it.
