    Vista accesing HD after sleep/hibranate

    When I get out of hibranate or sleep, vista accesses the HD for like 5 minutes very intensly, the hd led is solid light, and in the performance manager it writes the most to the page file. But why would it have to access the pagefile everytime it resumes? consuming the battery like crazy

    If you REALLY want to knwo what it is doing get a copy of FileMon from the Sysinternals site. They were purchased by Microsoft but stil have the BEST sleuthing tools around. Google will point the way for you.
