Is there anyone out there currently running vista on a Pentium M machine? If so I would appreciate feedback on how your experience has been.

I had vista installed on my laptop in summer of 07, and while i loved the OS, I found it to run a little bit slow. The CPU usage was always pretty high, and i would experience some lag. I switched back to XP for those very reasons.

I was just wondering if any of this has improved... because i would love to re-install vista.

I'm sure it'll run fine. Most of the time sluggishness in vista will be caused by things like a slow HDD or GPU.

in my case i am sure it was the CPU. My gpu is still pretty acceptable, and my HDD is above average.

    Thanks for the feedback though.
