As stated, Vista automatically loads in the Administrator account. I have to manually log out, and log into my own account. This is an annoying problem, any solutions?

Weird... I have a standard user and mine boots to login screen where I can choose a user and log in.

I don't know... did you tweak anything or turn off services... like from the tweaks sticky or similar stuff?

Password protect the Administrator account, or change the Admin account to your account. It's not the Admin account in the traditional Windows sense of the word; there is a hidden Admin account that is the full Admin account. Either way, if you password protect it, it won't load automatically.

    Cheers!

    And I like your username/avatar combo! :D

Thank you guys for your reply. Although i did not try making a password for it. After a messing around a lil and looking online, i found this simple task.

    open a command window

type this: Net user administrator activate:no

This basically hides the administrator account, and vista now loads into my account. Thanks again.

Hmmm. I think that account is the hidden system account. I wonder how it got activated in the first place? Well, I'm glad you got it done! :D

Yeah you are most likely right pixelot. I'm sure my computer manufacturer enabled it so they would not have any trouble with installing software/drivers.
