    i heard vista ultimate also have feature to make recovery? can anyone please tell me more about it and step by step procedure on how to use vista ultimate to make my OS backup with all drivers so that i dont need to fresh install again and again. i want to create a dvd like dell gave me... but it should be made by vista ultimate?

    well one more question should i use ultimate back up or acronis true image... which one is better?

    I haven't personally used Acronis, though I have read lots of good things about that, as well as know of experts here on NBR who would recommend it.

    I, personally, use SyncBack for backing up data onto an ext. hdd., and use Vista Ultimate complete PC backup utility for the complete backup and restore. This has helped me on two occasions when I had to restore my system to an earlier state. It was flawless.
