Well I just installed vista and so far I am very happy with it. I have my licenced version of trend micro 2006 on cd, and I have an update patch for 2007 (which is vista compadible). However 2006 is not supported on vista, so I can't install the 2007 patch. Is it possible to force install 2006 so I can update it to 2007? Or is it possible to configure the patch.exe to install the files it needs off the cd?

    Thanks guys

does it say something like it has compatibility issues with the dialog box. do you somehow see a button like "continue installation" or somthing similar to that. if so, continue and after the installation you might see a popup asking if the installation performs right. click the last button then install your patch.

you might wanna try AVG since it has lesser processing footprint compared with trend micros antibiotic. :D
