This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey guys, in the pursuit of making my machine run better, i want to do this.,.

    i came across this..

    is there anything else i should know or do..... i guesss i should create backup disks of the system in the original state?

    also, the only disk that came with it was a Vista upgrade disk...i think ..i d have to double check...is this what i would use... and will that reinstall the Adobe acrobat 7 etc.... but id have to reinstall PSCS2

    Well, do backup your data whenever you want to format, reinstall, or upgrade your OS.
