    Vista complete pc backup over network

    does anyone know if this is possible? i know you can backup certain files over a network but i want to do a complete backup over my network as my pc has over 600GB Storage.

    Backing up over ethernet is gonna take awhile (unless all network devices are Gigabit ethernet capable) but should work. I back up my Inspiron 8600 to an external drive which is connected to my other laptop with Acronis software. Still using the network this way though. The fastest way other than Gigabit ethernet is to connect an external drive via firewire or usb directly to the PC.

    hm i dont have the luxury of a external HDD though :( is it possible to do this oer ethernet with acronis?
