I bought a laptop the other day. I was able to get it for dirt cheap because he had an ungenuine copy of Windows 7 installed.
It's a Aspire 6930. It had a Vista OEM product key, so I decided to reinstall the original O.S.
Now I'm trying to install Windows Vista and it says "Windows cannot be installed on this drive error: 0x80300001"

-I already deleted the partitions for the illegitimate Windows and made a brand new partition.
-It's the only hard disk in the laptop
-I'm not using any extra driver CD.
