    Vista fresh install HDD space

    Hi,

    For those who have done Vista clean install before, how many HDD space does Vista occupy, without any other program installed?

    If I can remember correctly, my Vista install took about 15GB with no drivers.

    A little more than 10GB with drivers installed.

    Wow, that's a lot of HDD space. Even 10GB is a lot if I only have 16GB. Is it possible to make it much less, maybe uninstall certain components?

    You can make a custom install image using vLite. But if you only have 16GB of disk, that may not be enough to make the image either.
