How do you stop vista from automatically installing its own drivers. im trying to uninstall my Microsoft bluetooth driver, and when i uninstall them it puts them right back in. it really annoying i just want to turn it off

Instead of uninstalling the driver, try disabling it. It will leave the driver present, but the system should not load or use it.

Hmmm...you may be able to disable it, then uninstall it. Otherwise, I would try simply installing the newer driver over the old one.

Unless you set windows to automatically update your computer and install those updates without permission that's how it gets those drivers on it. If you don't want it that way then disable automatic updates.

Just install the driver you want, and it will override the Windows Driver.
