    Hi, I just bought an Asus G50VT-X1 that comes with Vista ome Premium 64 bits on it. If I want to format and install Vista Ultimate 64 bits, will that same key works on ultimate?

    No. It will only work on 32/64 Home Premium.

    Some guys says that If a person calls microsoft they'll give a Key that works on Ultimate 64. Is it true?

    Home Premium 64 bits DVD is actually identical with Ultimate 64 bit. The key that you have will unlock which version you will get at the time of the install. So, if you have Home Premium 64 bit key, you will get Home Premium 64 bit.

    So if I boot thru the Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit DVD and insert the code, I'll have it done?

    Like many have already stated, your key will not work for Vista Ultimate.
