    Vista is Becoming XP.. Faster now

    I don't trust tomshardware, he's notorious for biased reviews, and bashing... flames aside. XP is faster is some instances for sure, but the difference I have noticed, it is negligable at best.
    If all my games ran in vista, I would have no qualms packing away XP for good. It's not an issue of performance for me, but compatibility. Unfortunately, incompatibilities will always arise with every new OS release, it's just a fact of life.
    I'm sincerely hoping microsoft finally releases a virtualpc that supports 3D hardware acceleration.

    How about your GPU? It is possible that it got overheat and becomes unstabled.

    I see your point.

    Maybe SP1 won't be the answer for all, but will still help others. Hopefully in the coming months compatibility in Vista, games most of all, will be worked out. SP1 is supposedly going to resolve many application compatibility issues in Vista.

    We all should cross our fingers, and hope for the best!!
