Ok, so here's the deal. I put together a desktop computer for my family, built from scratch, and installed Vista home premium. It worked great for a week, until this morning.
I turned it on, and when it came to the log in screen, the account now had a password, and the picture was different. I didn't ever create a password, so I had no idea what it could be. I tried a bunch of random, common words and every now and then it'd take one, "Welcome" would pop up for about 45 seconds, then it'd say "Password incorrect" or something. Very strange.
So I booted into safe mode, went into the Administrator account, and the original account I made for them (the only one on the computer) was nowhere to be found. There was only Admin. and Guest. I restarted the computer, and the "Admin." account popped up, when I clicked on it to sign in, it told me the account was disabled, and to contact the administrator.
So by now, I'm confused, frustrated, and a little pissed off. Can anyone help me out?
