This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have Vista Business on my Vostro which doesn't have media centre, is there any software alternatives available on the web?

    thers always(my trusty combo) Windows Media player & interactual or Power DVD which usually are included on dells

    What do you need it to do? If you want to collect and organize your media files, MediaMonkey comes to mind.

    Surley there is a way round this. There has to be some sort of way to add windows media centre to vista business.

    plus, you can get skins for it to make it look like windows media player
