Does anyone else think that there should be a thread for VISTA only?Too many messages in this thread refer to Vista.I think Windows and Vista should have separate threads. What say you??

Why? Windows and vista are the same thing. Also i think this was discussed before and the verdict was no. Also you mean a separate sub-forum right?

Even though there are many questions for Vista, having a sub forum under Windows is not a good idea. Vista is Windows, and probably after 3 years the Vista sub forum will end up not being used as the world progresses towards Windows XP..*ahem*, Seven.

Whatever you do.. a subWindows forum, Vista, will be inundated by XP users who will berate Vista users. People just want to look for trouble.

The next OS to be released after Vista. Quite possibly the last Windows with modular updates planned instead of regular new versions (i.e. something new, not just some visual effects and minor changes). I sense that Microsoft are just going to be digging themselves into a bigger hole but until then, I'll hope for the best.

Windows7 will have a table screen interface using sensors under a screen to manipulate images (interactively) and minimizing keyboard use. It will also supposedly interact with other devices such as download pictures automatically from a camera just by sitting down the camera on the table. These are just possibilities and will hopefully get away from the present Windows interface of using a mouse.

I hope that the technologies and effects from the table goes into Seven. It's time Microsoft attain a higher level in user interface of their operating systems. Mac OS X *hints*. They need to do something better than Vista's weird user interface.

How about a thread for 64 bit os's... a lot of people seem to have many questions but whenever I search for anything 64 bit related, I don't get the results I want.
