This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    the UAC is retarded. Apple AD was right about the "cancel" and "allow" thing.

    There is actually a way to turn off UAC. google it.

    Vista is a joke though. Its hilarious that people are clammering to upgrade their hardware or buy new systems just so they can have see through windows and widgets.

    I see no point to this thread. Saying "Vista blows" doesn't mean anything if you don't provide some sort of reasoning.
