Im currently running vista home premium, as much as i like the look of it, im screaming to go back to xp pro. Will this be hard to do or just stick in my xp disk and do a full format, will i have any issues with drivers of my wireless connection?

    Cheers in advance. :D

Almost all notebook manufacturers put-up drivers on their support site.

Just backup any files you want to keep, pop in the disk, and then format. Download drivers you need for your model, install, and you should be good to go.

There's a whole army of folks doing this on the HP/Compaq discussion board. There are step-by-step instructions, screenshots feedback etc.
It appears to be a complicated process, but I'm thinking of doing when my HP shows up sometime next week.

Of course, I don't know what kind of laptop you have. Maybe you could look in the message board for your brand, and you'll discover the same phenomenon.

Was your Notebook offered under XP Pro before you bought it?
If it wasn't then don't upgrade unless you find the drivers first.
