    Hey!

    I haven't found a solution for this while i searched for it.

    The problem is that my desktop-settings won't stick.
    The taskbar always goes down to being "one line" when i've stretched it to being two lines thick, after i've rebooted. Even tried to lock the taskbar, but won't do anything.

    Desktop icons always goes back to medium even if i set it to classic or large after a reboot. And the placement of the desktop icons always goes back to the standard place even if i put them nice and tidy as i want them to be.

    This is starting to bug me out really much as i want everything to be as i want not as windows wants it to be. It's like the settings for this would be write protected or something.

    I hope someone has a simple answer/fix for this!
    Any help and/or ideas are welcome!

    Best Regards
    // Michel.K

    Thanks for your reply goofball!

    I just tried to setup another(new) account and tried to change the desktop as i wanted, the new profile will keep my settings just as i want them to be. But not my primary account(admin account).

    Do you have any idéa why?

    Vista haven't said anything about my profile being corrupt or such, nothing, nada.

    But if someone doesn't know how to fix this, i will do what the link says and just use a new account, but that is my last way out of this :) There should be a way of fixing this :)

    Thank you very much vinumsv for showing interest!
