Hey all, I just got a new lenovo thinkpad t61 with vista home premium. My sister lent me her "borrowed" version of MS Office to install onto my computer, but Vista won't let me. My sister's borrowed MS Office CD worked fine on her HP notebook(which also runs vista). does anyone know how I can get around this? I really don't want to buy the thing for myself

I believe only legal way is to buy your own copy since every legal version needs its own key authorized to only one user. There are illegal ways to do it but can't be spoken about on this forum (and shouldn't be done).

Perhaps it's recognizing that you used the license one too many times?

You need to purchase your own license. Sorry, but no freebies.

Try OpenOffice.org if you want something free. Otherwise, pay for the product. Discussion of illegal software is against the forum rules.
